New App in development for those with Advanced liver disease– TESTERS NEEDED
Norgine are looking to release a new app which captures cognitive changes for patients with liver disease.
As part of the App development Usability Testing is required with potential users, to see if they can use the platform and complete simple tasks (eg creating an account). The exercise should last no longer than 30 minutes and can be performed remotely or face to face and you will be reimbursed at fair market value for the time spent.
The LiverSyncTM is a Medical Device App and is targeted at patients with liver cirrhosis. The concept is to monitor patients outside of clinical settings to identify those at greatest risk of developing hepatic encephalopathy. The aim is to help patients play an active role together with their doctor, to improve identification and timely treatment. Patients are able to download the app and perform tests at a set frequency (daily, weekly etc) and a healthcare professional is able to monitor patients on a web based platform once they connect with a patient. Carers/family members can also connect with patients to monitor their test results.
If you would like to be a tester and have been diagnosed with advanced (decompensated) liver disease please email Vanessa.hebditch@britishlivertrust.org.uk in the first instance with a telephone contact number.
