Bouncing ELF scores

Has anyone else had this happen? ELF test one year ago @ 9.5. Stopped drinking alcohol (2 glasses) of wine a day. Lost weight (4 kgs). Test 3 months later ELF down to 8.4. Still no more alcohol, another 5 kgs weight loss. I'm otherwise super fit. Then- latest test, Shock horror! ELF back up to 9.55. The specialist says lose more weight. I'm trying to of course!. But is it usual to bounce whilst the weight's going down? Or Any other ideas?

thanks Moondancer, love to all facing these challenges.

Hi, yep mine went down super low, the minute I deviate from my healthy lifestyle it goes up! I only have to sniff a crisp and it goes super high. Keep doing what you are doing and it will stabilise, well done!

Thanks v much Ollie, , whilst that’s annoying it gives me some encouragement.! I’ve now moved from Mediterranean to vegan diet ( plus skimmed milk for porridge and smoothies though ); I’ll give it a couple of months and see what’s happened . Thanks again

Hi, I eat porridge with flaxseed and chia seed for breakfast, lunch is usually tuna salad or tuna whole meal sandwich and dinner is chicken/turkey/salmon with veg. Nothing processed, no red meat, very few if any carbs and I only drink water, no medication whatsoever unless absolutely necessary. Hope this helps

Thank you Owlie

Looks like the high fibre low fat is working really well for you. < orders flax and chia from Amazon...>

I’m similar but at the moment I’m taking out the animal/ fish protein ... the Elf bounce occurred despite it. Annoying !!

I just would like to say I have no affiliation with Amazon....! 😂 hopefully it will settle down soon - I also eat loads of blueberries if it helps. GP also said it will fluctuate at times as my scores were off the scale superb and she couldn’t believe it! Be careful with vegan as you might need b12 supplements and taking meds etc all has to be processed by the liver. Also avoid pre made vegan, full of nasty salt etc! I
