Good morning to all you early bird careers, after 3 reasonable nights we have just had another tipsy turvy night I think I have just grown to accept them after 6 months and by body seems to have adjusted to the lack/ broken sleep, heard a new dad complaining about lack of sleep the other day whilst on a rare visit to the office, smiled to myself and bit my tongue and just thought “try doing it when your body’s 57 mate, anyway despite all the recent set backs (vascular surgeon wanted to amputate his leg above the knee,) gastric say his liver will not cope with the operation. We have made the decision to not have the op and see how the toe goes. I have got him hot socks which seem to keep his feet warm and help with the pain in his feet (neuropathy and PAD) I’ve adjusted my hours now work 6 - 2 so that we can get a few hours together in the afternoon . But today I’m off into the office for a half day, just going to walk dogs. And then do medication and breakfast before I go into the real world,
But just thought I would say to all spouses careers out there you do a great job!, make a little time for yourself and most of all try to enjoy what time you have left with each other and enjoy the good days😁 love to you all😍😍
