Hey folks, as you can see from my last post I haven't officially got a diagnosis or anything but it's safe to say I at least have an alchoholic fatty liver, which brings me onto this post. Diet. I've done a bit of research and I've been eating this so far this turn of the year.

Breakfast - Oatabix (semi skimmed milk, Banana, Apple, Protein shake (low fat, low sugar, low salt.

Snack - 0% Fat Greek yogurt with blueberries, Actimel.

Lunch - Mixed bean salad with spinach, jalapeños, sweet potato with vegan mayonnaise and tabasco sauce.

Snack - Slice of wholegrain toast with 0% salt no palm oil peanut butter, slices of cucumber and tomato (not on the toast with the peanut butter 🤢)

Dinner - Brown rice mixed with peas carrots and sweetcorn, chicken breast fillet with some broccoli.

You guys are more than likely much more knowledgeable than me about liver friendly food so my question is how does this look, anything you would add/remove? Any tips at all would be great, thanks.

Looks pretty good, at this stage you don't know for sure you have a liver issue so sensible advice would just be about healthy eating with a sensible balanced diet. The BLT pages on looking after your liver and diet and liver disease might help you further.

Hi Szeth

Congratultations on taking some postive steps to improve your lifestyle.

We would suggest you clarify if you have any liver damage and/ or liver disease. If you have a liver condition, there are some special considerations you may need to make in your diet to stay nutritionally well and to help to manage your condition. Some of these are specific to certain liver diseases, others relate to how advanced your liver disease is. We therefore always suggest that people should discuss their specific dietary needs with their own doctors in the first instance.

Best wishes
