My symptoms 'self-assessment' today...

Hello again, all

Further to my earlier posts, I thought I might amplify my message by posting the results of very quick 'self-assessment' that I did today, that was taken from some symptoms list of the various stages of the progress of Cirrhosis, all of which were lifted from this site.

I do so hope the results could be said to fairly encouraging for me, though I view everything with careful caution now...

In the early stages, the liver can function normally despite being damaged.

You tend to get noticeable symptoms as the liver becomes more severely damaged.

The main symptoms include:

•tiredness and weakness Me: No (0/1)

•nausea Me: No

0/2

•loss of appetite resulting in weight loss Me: No (0/3)

•reduced sex drive Me: No (0/4)

As the condition progresses, you may also have:

•yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes (jaundice) Me: No (0/5)

•fever and shivering attacks Me: No (0/6)

•vomiting Me: No (0/7)

•diarrhoea Me: No (0/8)

•itchy skin Me: Yes, occasionally (1/9)

•stomach pain, or a swollen or bloated stomach Me: Yes (But in URHQ, not stomach) (2/10)

•dark, tarry-looking poo Me: No (2/11)

•a tendency to bleed or bruise easily Me: No (2/12)

•tiny red lines (blood capillaries) on the skin above waist level Me: No (2/13)

•swelling in the legs, ankles and feet caused by a build-up of fluid (oedema), which can cause breathing problems Me: No (2/14)

•difficulty maintaining weight

• Me: No (2/15)

personality changes, confusion, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, or hallucinations Me: No (2/15)

•in women, abnormal periods Me: N/a (2/15)

•in men, enlarged breasts, a swollen scrotum (the loose sac of skin that contains the testicles) or shrunken testicles Me: No (2/16)

Am I allowed to be encouraged by these scores, and is it fair to take them as a guide to my conditions? I do so hope I'm right in thinking they are...
