Findings

The pancreas contains several cystic areas the largest being 4 mm

The liver is of a normal size but appears increased in echogenicity consistent with fatty infiltration

Patent portal vein no intra/extra duct or obvious focal liaisons

Hi John,

Unfortunately, no one on the forum is medically quaified to be able to interpret your scan report.

It is very important that you see a trained doctor who can talk you through your report and explain any relevant diagnosis to you.

Best wishes

Never miss hospital appointments for work commitments!

I learnt the hard way that it's not worth it. I kept ignoring the fact I felt awful as I had a lot on at work. The delay in getting treatment meant my liver was damaged permanently when had I got treatment earlier it may have not had permanent damage (I had blocked veins in my liver and needed a shunt to divert bloodflow).

Work is never more important than your health - you need to be alive and well to work and you can always get a different job whereas you can't get a new liver very easily.

Only a specialist would be able to interpret your results. Ring up and get another appointment if you haven't already.
