Just an update 😊

All my bloods sorted themselves out thank god 😊

I seen the kidney consultant last week and had a chat about cannabis and that was the cause of my alt going off the wall its because I am post and also because of my kidneys I told him I been using it to sleep and that I would now just have it a couple of nights a week and he seen no problem with that

He has also told me I am definitely down the road going to need a kidney transplant, my body does not like the toxicity of the drugs but as he explained there is more they can do concerning keeping the kidneys going than the liver (I think deep down I knew it was the way it was going to go)

I am fine with it and will just enjoy whatever I get I am already on borrowed time anyway and just celebrated my 3rd birthday since transplant that's an achievement in my eyes 😊😍😘

It certainly is 2 losses today tell us that one was an idol of mine and another a teenage crush it's heartbreaking that's why we can't get down x

It was a great weekend and I still got a spa day to look forward to

Hi Jojo. Hope you enjoyed your birthday and glad that you are feeling a bit better. It’s not good that you will need a kidney transplant in the future, but medical science is improving so much. It sounds like you live for the moment and stay as positive as you can. Your right we are on borrowed time that we are so lucky to have, and with the right care and looking after ourselves we can get over the huge hurdles that come our way and that borrowed time can be extended. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say ( HE kept forgetting the words I wanted to use mid sentence!!). Take care x

And we do have to make the most of every hour, we have just been made more aware of how precious life is and I consider myself and all of us the lucky ones as we won't waste it x

Hi JoJo, great news that your bloods are returning to normal. Congrats on your 3rd B'day post TX 👍🎂 You were and still are an inspiration to me when I first joined the group (about 2 years ago). I still having just not every night I didn't have any for 2 nights before bloods were done again and bloods were back to normal I am not too worried x

Good to hear that your blood work has sorted itself out.

Sorry to hear about the kidneys - although on a possibly positive note - my oldest son's father-in-law recently passed - he was a kidney transplant whose transplanted kidney lasted far longer than originally expected and he had his done more than 20 years ago.l
