Worried 45 year old

I'm 45 and decided to go for help with my drinking before it was too late.as a result the substance abiluse clinic sent me for blood tests which came back with a high ggt result of 100, I was sent for another blood test and this showed a result of ggt 145 .I have been booked in for an ultrasound scan on 14/2/19 .will this scan tell me immediately if I do or not have cirhossis or will I have to wait .since the 1st blood results I drastically redused my alcohol intake .and after the second I have completely stopped drinking. Fanx for reading and any pointers or advise that you all may have would be greatly appreciated many fanx

Fanx for that I have already started eating healthier aswell and have lost some weight as I know I am carrying a few extra pounds .I will post when I have the results fanx for the response
