ITCHY FEET

I have started having itchy feet at night and I am concerned that it could be a problem with my liver.

I do drink well over the limits but am trying to cut down don’t drink Monday to Thursday.

Would I have other symptoms other than itchy feet if there was a problem?

Hi Judy, the only way to ascertain if this is anything to do with your liver is to go to your doctors and discuss your concerns and thereafter have some blood tests done to check your liver function etc. Itching in liver disease is often to do with an elevation of bilirubin in your bloods.

None of us are doctors or medically qualified to say what might or might not be a liver symptom. If it's a new issue with yourself I would definitely go and get it checked out - it might be nothing to worry about a simple skin rash, dryness etc. or could be a symptom of some other underlying condition.

2 years after my transplant I get itchy feet on and off. Mainly due to not drinking fluids. Try drinking more water, see if it makes any improvement
