Hello everyone. After my HA from March until now, I already had developed Urinary infection fifth time. This one is the worst one, with lots of sharp pain in pelvis area.
I was wandering if it can be related to the cirrhosis and if it is normal for someone with cirrhosis to have tham so frequent.
Thank you.

Hi
I don't know but I'm sure someone will come along with an answer soon. Xxxx
I’m not sure but I’ve got cirrosis which they think has probably developing for years and I’m getting utis 2/3 times a year. So don’t know if it’s related. I know we’re supposed to avoid infection. I seem to get them after travelling so maybe due to dehydration. It would be good to know.
I have pbc and am constantly getting uti and kidney infections it drives me crazy I did read that it’s quite common to get Utis with pbc sorry not very helpful hope you get it sorted 😊
Thank you for your reply. Yesterday I have so much pain in mai lower abdomen so, I went to the A&E and the doctor said that it cannot be relate to cirrhosis. But after, I found some articles regarding this in which was said that it is related.. That is why I am so confused..
Today I will see my Gp and hopefully I will find some answers.
