I have had a headache almost constantly for the last 4 weeks (since cirrhosis diagnosis) but some have been really, really bad. Today's has been horrible. Is there anything we can take that won't make the liver damage worse?

Hi
The only thing I've found to help is putting s wet facecloth on my head or lying in s darkened room. Hope you feel better soon. Love and hugs Lynne ccxx
I used to get those headaches, as well. For me a massage with aroma therapeutic oils helped. I can recommend this oil called white flower oil. I think it’s chinease.
Hi.
Is your cirrhosis caused by alcohol, and if so, did you quit on diagnosis?
I'm just asking this as headaches can be caused by dehydration when you stop drinking.
I stopped for three years several years ago, not because I was diagnosed with anything, but just because I was sick of the lifestyle, and I suffered crushing headaches for a few weeks.
It's a well known withdrawal symptom.
- as a side note: I stupidly started drinking again a few years ago and need up in hospital with Alc Hep, and was diagnosed with cirrhosis last year!
