Alcolol induced Pancreatitis suspected in the year 2007 after getting admitted to a hospital but no investigation conducted of my liver. LFT was normal. But after another bout of acute abdominal pain last month It revealed after hospitalisation that my pancreas was fine but my liver showed a fibroscan score of 27 Kpa which indicates cirrhosis I fear. Drs have diagnosed fibrosis. I had been drinking for the last 12 years quite heavily and smoked as well till June 9th 2018. Now I am on total abstinence. No pain. Good appetite. Rrgularly attending office. Trembling has almost gone. Speach is no more inhibited. But need laxatives daily. Occasional itching at some parts externally. Feet are not bloated but get badly tired by the evening although my job is sedentary. I am on pantoprazole and metadoxine only. Is my cirrhosis already at a fatal stage?
