Cirrhosis

My mom was daignosed with chronic liver cirrohsis,portal hyper tension and ascites. Dr. Suggested for transplant, we dont know what to do... pls give advise

Hello korakkodan, sorry to hear of your mum's diagnosis. What country are you in as advice might differ from country to country.

In the UK transplant is seen as a treatment option when all else has really failed and where in reality the patient will sadly die of their condition without it.

If doctors feel t/p is needed for your mum then go forward with the process & best wishes with it.
