Hi eŕeryone! Hope your òk uñdèŕ The circumstances? My tablet is not workiñg right so excuse funny symbòls. Às most of you know my aiĺmeñts I have cirhossis, ģallstones,, huge spleen, portal hypertension, now degeneritive spine disease and lobel atrophy àñd now stroke 3 weeks ago. It was an evening when I was writìng an e mail and I had à headache and kept leàninģ to the left. I'd haď numbness and low blood pressure which Dr couldnþ do anything for. I rang the out of hours doctor and my symptoms alarmed her so she got a paramedic. He found my left pupil blown abnď mý mouth dropped to the left. My heart tracè abñormal. Ambulance càmè and took me to hospital. I had as ct scan which sowed à bleed and had à bed in a male ward and held out unþil the Sunday and Mr I scan booked for the Monday. Ì came home on the sunďayy saying I w illl be àn outpatient for Mr i for which my ģp has organised. The link to my liver is my blood platelets are very low causing small bleeds on thè bŕain. Have had à fall sincè àñd my memoŕy poor. Still leaninģ to left àñd heaďàches so desperate for my Mr I..
It's one thing after another since my hoĺiday last year.

Hi,its surprising how many people havè had à stroke. Are liver patients more prone. Sorry about your experiences and hope life is kind to you, and everyone on here
Hiya Jules sorry to hear you have had a stroke .. I had one a few years ago but it was mistaken for a h.e attack it's only after a few days in hospital that the consultant ordered a brain scan that it was recognised.. I improved in time I had to see a speech therapist and a few others for a few months but I got back to normal
I just wanted to let you know that so you know it can happen with cirrhosis but that will also get over this it's just like everything it takes time I hope you recover soon 😘
Thanks jo, I knew something sinister was going òn bùt not thàt. Had an episode last yeàr and psychiàtrist told it was bells palßy but no checkß were done, thanks
Hi jules45 I didn't know that a stroke could be linked to liver disease. I too have Chrosis and type 2 diabetes and several more illnesses. Hope you have a speedy recovery , hugs to you! Keep us posted.
