Sugar

Hi everyone

We all know that sugar is a problem for kidneys but has anyone seen much about how much harm it does to the liver? I would be interested as I love sweet things. Stress eating s always been a problem for me.

Hi Gill, well.i have a sweet tooth 🙈. Very much so .. i never used to untill 2 yrs ago . I have cirrhosis 10 yrs. Dont have sugar in hot drinks or even sugary cold drinks and i am wary of hidden sugars in sauces etc..but for the life of me i adore chocolate lol. I was told nov last year that my liver was now fatty; this does not help the cirrhosis.

All i was told was all in moderation.... but like you i would like to know the impact and if that has been the cause of my fatty liver?
