Hello , I know this isn't a big worry like lots of you have . I have PBC, last week I had a very bad tummy and was in hostpital for 3 days .,now on antibiotics which is helping a lot. This Thursday I'm having a colonoscopy.so today I have to start drinking clear soups. Dose clear soups mean no bits of food . ? Do I boil up some veg , drain , and drink the water all day ?

Thankyou for your time to read this

Hi 246810 you might find this page useful as it outlines what constitutes clear food & drink for colonoscopy prep. Probably best to leave out your veggie bits from soup.

If you want to get your veggie bits out of your soup use a cheap cafetiere. One of them things where you push the plunger down to trap the coffee grounds at the bottom. They do a cracking job of straining any veggie bits out of broths or soups, much quicker and easier than using a sieve.

Good luck with the test.
