Bad liver , but severe pain elsewhere.

I am slowly waiting for a liver transplant but have servers back and knee pain from teaching karate for most of my life. I could scream I'm in so much pain. I'm allowed a few paracetamol and a very small amount of morphine sulphate both of which are not enough. I also have diabetes and letting probs. Is there anything I could take to relieve the pain, even if just for an hour or so because sometimes I feel like jumping off of a bridge in in that much pain..

If you have a liver condition it is very important to speak with your own doctors about your pain medication as they will have to carefully consider what you can safely take.

You may also want to also discuss with your GP about a referral to the 'pain team' at your nearest hospital who may be able to help you.
