Well I’ve just got back from a mini meet the team assessment at Leeds. What a lovely bunch of people. Everyone gave me plenty of time with them and made me feel really at ease. Surgeon was very quirky, think it’s a prerequisite of surgeons. Gotta pop back again tomorrow for a quick MRI but from the sounds of it I’ll be delisted come Monday.
As a point of interest to all of us still waiting they informed me today that as of March next year the waiting list will be national rather than individual lists for each centre. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing???

Typo. Meant relisted. It’s a bit unsure where I currently stand. Think from the sounds of it I was currently suspended from Kings list till I could get to Leeds and have mini reassessment. Will find out for certain Monday but it sounded possible. One possible hiccup but they haven’t decided.
Kings told me that from early 18 the changes were taking place and that it would benefit me, my LFT's are good but because there are many other issues what is wrong with me isn't represented. So he said I will end up on another list that I would shoot straight to the top of....how true that is I don't know. If things are as they are and it goes national I don't think I'll be transplanted for a long time to come....374 today....
I understand you pretty much. I was in the national waiting list for quite a long time and eventually they made an operation that helped me a lot (tbh saved my life). However, at the same time i had to pay the mortgage, and there was not much money. I had to live off my parents several years. I was lucky that I was familiar with one broker who helped me a lot with his advices. If you have similar problems you probably should check Mortgage Advisor Leeds wesite for more details: Leedsmoneyman.com
The post is three years old and the changes were made in April 2018, they have proved to be a very positive development. It almost certainly saved my life.
It meant livers are now allocated much more efficiently and are able to be sent where they are needed. It has improved the system. What's really going on with you? You have joined a liver forum and are making uninformed comments on posts that are years old. What is really bothering you?
