Hi all just tried to write a post and it disspeared so I will do it again I was diognosed with 2 tumors on my liver and was told only 1 treatment was available to me because of my ongoing health problems can't have chemotherapy as it will gI've me sepsis can't have surgery as I only have 1 lung and bronciexis so they offered memail a procedure to block off the blood supplies to the tumors so it was to go ahead so on the day I was all prepared for the op gowns etc and was prepared on the table then the surgeon wenth off to look at my latest blood results and I saw him Inn another room with the team shaking his head and he came back to me and told me it was to be abandoned owing to my blood results from 2 days previous showing myou life function was looking bad and he said had he gone ahead I would not have come out of the hospital son I was just sent home with no information at all and no follow up so I feel abandoned the worst of it is I was told in January that I ad lesions on my liver and was told by a bacteria at the bedside when I was in the hospital in January and he said we'll if you safer to turn yellow gold back to your GP and he can investigate it so get things done early by speaking up at the early stages to get treatment don't Finnish up like me with less hope mickmm

It is really horrible what has happened to you. Have they sent a report back to your g.p. as they were not going to be polite and talk to you about what it means?

I hope and pray that they can get your bloods sorted so they can sort things out for you.

Hi Lynne just an update after all the doom and gloom news after I was sent home with no follow up or anything I did allready have an appointment to see the oncologist consultant and was going to demand some further tests like blood and a ct scan but as we went in she had already made out a newe blood form to be done that day as she was very concerned about the way things had gone and arranged to have another scan to see if the tumors had grown anyway I had the bloods done on Wednesday and she said she would ring me on my mobile as soon as the results came in then we were in tesco shopping on Thursday and she rang all exited and in disbelief at the results she told me my liver function has almost returned to near normal so I proveed the doctor wrong who said it was not the injection i had caused my liver to fail ...the surgeon has still decided he does not want to do the procedure because my liver is very high in my ribcage owing to have only 1 lung and he did say it could have caused my liver to swe'll up a lot pushing outwards on my ribcage causing me tremendous pain so we are leaving well alone and seeing how things go over the next few months and keep ct scans checking progress so as I have said at the moment at least we can still go out as we want the procedure could have made me housebound so just waiting for the scan sorry for long post mickmm

Hi

How are you now? As you probably already know, I've got Nash with fibrosis. I just keep feeling worse worse, my weight just isn't coming off, I've tried everything but my thyroid still isn't sorted properly. I'm really scared that I will end up needing a transplant, my pain is terrible. Sorry to parrot on. Lynne

Hi Lynne of dear it sounds like you have many problems like me and in a lot of pain like me I hope they soon get your thyroid problem sorted all these things seem to take lots of time and in the meantime you are suffering I am in agony at the moment as I did try to cut down on my morphine m s t but it seems to have gone against me and gave me bad tum ache so back on the higher dose as I am having a job coping getting up 3 or 4 in the morning with the pains so I am hoping now they kick in andisbelief give me relief best of luck Lynne mickmm
