Hi,
With regards to all the medications being discussed in this post, please only take the medications prescribed to you by your own doctor.
Everyone on the forum has different liver conditions and differing liver function, it would be strongly advisable to see your own doctors and discuss your medications with them as soon as possible. They will be able to assess your pain and give specific and accurate advice.
Best wishes,
Rebecca
my husband has tried many different painkillers for his cirrhosis-related pain: Tramadol was bad for him, made him too sleepy and out of it all the time - he now takes Nefopam from his GP which works very well for him.
I was prescribed for Tramadol 100mg for my pain and it worked really well and also its still works for my pain. I take tramadol only according to my doctor prescription which is must. So in case you want to switch to tramadol make sure you get proper prescription about it.
