Hello Maxine and welcome. May I ask please what the reason is for your daughter being on the waiting list? You'll appreciate that most of the users on this site have been in need of a transplant for different reasons. There are many associated conditions that are connected, so an idea of the cause would be of help. I personally had an alcohol issue which although I'm not proud of my past, will freely admit to my situation.
My hubbys on the waiting list 3 months next week. It's so hard waiting just trying to stay positive and keep taking each day as it comes.
He had a call 2 weeks after being listed. They were literally just about to take him to theatre and the doctor came in and said operation was cancelled as donor liver wasn't healthy enough. Was tough but at least he got a trial run. Good luck. Xxz
