I think it would be nice to take a moment to think of all the work this amazing man did. A lot of us, friends and family would not be around today if it wasn't for his tireless work.

RIP Dr Starzl and thank you.

I am a resident of Pennsylvania and was well aware of Dr. Starzl's transplant work at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. If I ever need a liver transplant, that's where I will be going. All of us who have damaged livers owe a lot to him.
