You don't say how old your daughter is but you should make sure she is seen by a Hepatologist (specialist liver doctor)

What area are you in and which hospital?

Thank you for your reply. My daughter is 21 and is currently at university in Plymouth and I live in Wales. My daughter is under a Hepatologist but they can't see what's going on but her blood works tells them different.

Well if the Hepatologist cant diagnose I don;t understand. What exactly are her symptoms, what has she been tested for and which enzymes are outside normal levels and what are the levels?

Just trying to help as we had problems initially with my husband pre

diagnosis

Her symptoms are abdominal pain underneath her rib cage, that also is in her back and shoulder, plus vomiting. Her pancreatic emyzemes where 567, and all that we've been told is her ALP/ALT are raised.

Sounds like gallbladder / stones, I had to have mine removed the pain was as similar to what your describing, gangrene had set in I was sick and in pain, they should see that with a ultrasound/MRI

Agree; you must demand she is seen by a Hepatologist.

Thank you for your kind words, it's so worrying as my daughter is only 21 and she's my baby even thou she would hate me saying that.

Hi everyone, thank you for all your support. I've had an update on what's going on, they are thinking, that my daughters Gallbladder is going into Spasam apparently it's not very common as there is three different forms of this they call it "sphincter-of-oddi-dysfunction"
