My 4 year old is being investigated for Hirshprung's (lifelong untreatable constipation) and as part of the routine blood tests her ALT came back as 164. Is this just a funny virus thing or could it be linked in some way?
Thank you

Can you have him seen by a liver doctor? I woukd get in to get a good second opinion preferably from a large medical center where they see pediatric patients.
Anything liver related can possibly cause abnormal Liver enzyme labs, I have PBC my alt was high now on treatment feeling better labs normal. Let us know how it goes.
