Hi can anyone tell on on an ultrasound does fat show up in the liver as black or white?

I have been diagnosed with diffuse fatty liver. ALT rising and platelets dropping. Thanks

Will show white on an ultrasound. Make sure you abstain from alcohol completely, start to eat a healthy diet with no fried foods, and take NAC supplement daily. Losing weight helps too.

Hi thanks for reply. Never drank alcohol, my diet is quite healthy. . Could you tell me what NAC supplement is.

N-Acetyl Cysteine. It's based on an amino acid but Google it. You can buy it online and Holland and Barrett sometimes have stock but it sells out quickly.
