I have PBC/AIH on all the usual meds but recently I have been having terrible pain in the middle of my chest.

This pain wakes me in the night consultant has upped my omeprozole but its not working. I have no gall bladder so it cant be gall stones. As anyone else had this and if so how did you manage it. Also recently my lft is all over the place the consultant cant decide what to do...upp pred..take me off pred..biopsy again. Mighty fed up at the min feeling rubbish and depressed.

I had this and it went down to just under my breasts, mine also extend sideways. I had candidasis ( thrush) , of the oesophagus . Mine was discovered when I had an endoscopy. Get it nipped in the bud as mine went on to affect my mucus membranes, and my abdomen. Treated with flucnonazole.

I cannot really help you other than to give my support and say never give up. Symptoms from a failing liver seem to very depending on the individual and although I did not have your symptom I certainly had others. I tolerated mine for over 18 months before receiving the gift of a transplant,but I never gave up. If you do you will never reach where you want to be. My best wishes and hopes go with you.
