My travel insurance comes with my credit card (Nat West). All I need is a letter from my consultant that I am fit to travel. I have never had to test the policy however, but they assure me I am fully covered.

I have had terrible trouble getting health insurance, 10 years transplanted and no rejection, but back in hospital once straight after. I have finally found a sensible insurance company who ask the right questions...Essential travel.co.uk. Good luck

I have always been able to get insurance just excluding anything to do with my declared disorders. So if I have a fall and break my leg I am covered but not if I have liver failure. So you have live and have a life so I do.

Beginning to think like that.

I'm sure that people have mentioned getting succesful TI cover, even after a transplant, in the Readers Letters pages of 'Bear Facts' the magazine of the PBC Foundation. So why not contact the 'PBC F'

I have found insurance to America although its only two wks I thought I couldn't travel without it, the cost is £645 and that's six months after an alcohol damaged liver and diabetes and high blood pressure and I had cancer many years ago goodtogoinsurance.com/

Oh I had a transplant which will be six months in feb
