Don't usually run on a Sunday but the weather is beautiful and just decided to go. I went a bit further this time up the cycle track this time and it was so worth it. Have a nice day ππ

Looks lovely Buddy.

Beautiful Buddy.
A bit of history Lexi6 regarding that photograph that our friend Buddy34 took, its Hillend Loch, about 16 miles from Glasgow, just out of the photo there is a railway line, that railway goes all the way to Edinburgh, it was closed in 1966 when steam trains ended, but it was reopened during the severe winter in December 2010 to brand new electric trains. I remember passing that loch on a electric train with the temperature at - 10C, 14F, the loch was frozen white from one end to the other, a complete white out despite no clouds in the sky, I will always remember that day.
It must have looked beautiful frozen over.
Thanks for that info Alan, it must have looked beautiful covered in ice too. The 60βs saw a lot of railway lines disappear didnβt thanks to Dr Beeching. I suppose today the disused railway lines are a boon for runners and cyclists, so thanks Doctor. π
During the 1990's I used to cycle on the exact bit that the railway was and now is on, they then closed the cycle path for 3 years to rebuild the railway, the cycle path now goes parallel to the railway line, I have only seen it from the train as I have not cycled on it since the railway was rebuilt.
Beautifully Scottish scenery buddy, I think your decision to run on a Sunday was spot on ππ

That's Hillend Loch, a lovely place, I used to pass it on a bike ride to Bathgate, lovely run for you today Buddy34.
I went a walk this morning just after breakfast, after lunch I went a bike ride and later today I will be taking my neighbours dog Holly a 30 minutes walk. I hope you are keeping well. π ππΎ
It looks really lovely. How good is the feeling that we can go out and explore/experience this? Well done on joining the Sunday brigade too!! Have a great rest of day bathed in the post run glow.

That definitely does look worth the effort - a sight for sore eyes!
