There are excellent breast cancer surgeons in every city, every nook and corner of India. More important is to select a doctor, who listens to you, who gives you time, who will respond when you need him.

One or two days here or there does not make any difference. Select a good doctor, that's all. The following post will surely help you. Read it if you have time:

BTW, Tata Memorial Centre Mumbai, is a good choice, for sure.

I was at Tata Memorial Centre till 2011; now no longer there; I work in private practice and a few charitable institutions.

Hey hapamitu follow the link given by Doc, it is excellent but chattisgarh may not have the right set up so, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata are very good . If you need help in Delhi do let me know. Bith Max and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute are very good and I treated myself at Rajiv Gandhi only. All the best for your Ma .

Sorry to hear about your mother. Please inquire well before deciding your treatment. My friend's mother was unknowingly treated by a general surgeon and unfortunately cancer get spread in her body.

I am getting my treatment at Rajiv Gandhi,New Delhi, it is also overcrowded but I find the trust on docs here. Its upto you where you find suitable and safe hand doc.

Wish your mother speedy recovery,

Thanks for your concern. My BCS was done by Dr Kapil and his team. They all are so nice and kind.Dr Kapil was the first person who stand there for me to fight cancer. Now my medical oncologist is Dr Ullas Batra, for chemotherapy.Docs are good but smtms its so overcrowded that it get difficult to take appoinmnt and get admit as well.

Regards

Sarika
