I am sure you will be fine, I am now 2.5 yrs after my op have had lots of pains niggles etc which get me worried, which end up ok, our bodies have been through a lot, some more than others, your body had to knit together nerves and muscles etc and this can cause pain and niggles.

Try to trust your body again, I know it is hard and I have only just started to not worry so much, but always put your mind at rest by talking about your concerns to your doctor.

Good luck I hope its OK. I am seven years post mastectomy, six years post reconstruction and still feel pain not sure if its from scar tissue or poor fitting bras still !!! I sometimes cannot sleep on that side. I still have follow up though. I have bone ache and often think about secondaries but hopefully just side effect of Letrozole ! I have written to my doc to see if I should have regular bone scans. I think he wants to discharge me to gp as I thought they only did 5 years follow up.. But I will continue, as I was on tamoxifen which they said for five years so I was hoping to be stopped but they put me on Letrozole for 3 years they say 😈😈😈😈😈😈

Bless you julesab keep going. Maybe he hoped the letrozole would address the bone ache and as it hasn’t he can’t discharge you. I would have thought you’d have had at least one bone scan by now.

Wishing you well xx

I’m 5 1/2 years post surgery. I get an ache top part of my arm, worse when driving. I’ve been told it’s all part of it. It seems we are never allowed to forget that we’ve been through the mill. X
