The medical team looking after you know how best to look after you, have you seen a physio, i had lumpectomies, with full node clearance in the right arm which got very stiff during my radiotherapy, when it was finished my breast nurse sent me for physio on my arm whereby, over time, I got full movement back, I wish you well x

I totally understand how frustrating it is .. I had a double mastectomy with full lymph node removal which left me with limited movement .. But you must keep up the excersize.. And it will get better ... Your body has been through so much .. And it needs time a care to get back to normal ... Good luck x

Thanks ladies finding this heat unbearable which is unusual for me makes everything twice as hard

Hi Jenny . I was over 12 weeks post mastectomy before I had radiotherapy treatment because of significant Seroma and had to have it drained twice during radiotherapy too, so totally understand your frustration. However, whatvypu need is physiotherapy so ask for it or get it privately if you can avoid it and do the exercises several times a day, they do work eventually. Trust me if you can't get your arm in the right position they won't be able to administer radiotherapy treatment properly.

Good luck x

Hey, i found it really difficult after my node clearance as it was so painful. In some respects, it's so hard but in the end I had to try and break through the pain barrier and really power on through the exercises. Be kind to yourself and you will get there.x

Ladies I'm worried my tatto dots are permanent what a bout the lines that they draw mine have washed off good or bad

in reply to Jenny1410

Tattoo dots are permanent. Lines they draw on are fine to wash off, they position you each day and draw more lines, don't worry.
