Has anyone been to any of the above? What they like? I'm considering going.

Just wondering what they are like?

Hope all is well with everyone 😎

I have attended meditation groups. I would not have dreamed of going in the past, however I have found them totally relaxing and I now use the techniques when I feel things are getting in top of me at home. Even my Hubby has a go at meditation. I have also made a lovely new circle of friends. Its worth a try, what have you got to lose? πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Very true Lainey 😎

Theres a support group coming up shortly, thinking about whether to go or not. I wasn't able to go before, due to recovering from my DIEP.

I might try the medication classes too.

Hi I went to a group of people who all had different kinds of cancer in different stages, including some who were NED. It was excellent to make new friends and not feel alone!! We shared all sorts of stuff including our personal lives, and had a great time. It was devastating when Gilda's Club was taken over and the group was forced to disband. Some of us have maintained our friendships and continue to get together! I also attended conferences and workshops that were very exciting! We learned a lot about our particular cancer and the advances that were being made. It is always awkward to join a new group, but I hope you do so and the awkardness will go away very quickly!!
