After always having long hair, I took the plunge yesterday and had it cut shorter, I’m going pink on Monday to!! Can’t wait to see my mothers face haha! All ready to see oncologist on Tuesday!

Although only the 2 lymph nodes that were near the tumour were effected they would like me to have chemo and radiotherapy, so I thought I’ve always wanted to do something wakey but never had the guts or the reason, but now I feel like superwoman! I know that with curtain chemo I might not loose my hair but it’s been a good excuse to be a bit different.

It looks good Tricia suits you. I had hair like that length before my treatment then lost it but now it's growing back I'm liking Serena with short hair so maybe a new look is just the next step. I don't feel like my bobbed wig is me anymore. Hope everything goes well, keep smiling xx

If you can then cold cap! It isn't comfortable and you have to saturate your hair beforehand but i kept my hair. It thinned in places but it wasn't obvious to those who didn't know me. Now those bits are growing back.
