Hi everyone . Next week Im about to start the second stage of Paclitaxol following 10 weeks of the FEC chemo. For some reason I had every side effect on the list from neutropenia , 2 admissions to hospital , nausea , relentless diarrhoea , pains in joints , legs etc, mouth ulcers, back ache , loss of appetite and despite the use of the difficult cold cap , about 3/4 of my hair! Having said that I feel great today, and it’s a wonderful relief . It’s day 13 of the 21 day cycle . No signs or nasty symptoms So I know however bad , there’s a good chance it will get better ! With a gorgeous new baby grandchild nearby and her two siblings 2/4 yr olds , parents moving house there’s lots to do to help them and forget about myself but I’m concerned about the possible side effects of weekly Tax? Any different suggestions as to how to manage ?
Thanks so much if you have time to write .

10th - wow. How lovely. The side effects sounds dreadful for you, what a horrible time you have had. I don't really have suggestions for you but I do hope the tax works its magic without such unpleasant side effects . Caroline xx
Thanks Caroline .Its really nice to hear from you again . Hope all is good with you ? Optimistically with the side effects , they did all stop after a while which was a huge relief , so I guess even if I get the lions share again , it will mean the chemo is also attacking the enemy as well as my healthy cells ! What a lottery it all is !
