I don’t know what stage I was but 1.5cm tumour HER2, ER+, no node involvement. I had mastectomy, 12 week’s chemo, herceptin, tamoxifen. All do-able. Be kind to yourself, accept all help and focus on the positives, there’ll be some somewhere. God bless. X

I just had weekly paclitaxel. I didn’t have any sickness. Got progressively tired, but managed to do school run, dogs etc. Hair thinned, nails went black towards the end but nothing too awful.

I had stage 3 invasive ductal, 37mm. I had chemo, lumpectomy, radiotherapy and 12 months of herceptin. That was 5 years ago. I am in South Cumbria and had amazing treatment, drink lots and sleep lots. Take care x

Dear Julie, I am grade 3 invasive ductal with 3 lymph nodes involved 2 of which were macro matastices, HER2 +ve, ER and PR +ve. I have recently finished chemo and radiotherapy and on Herceptin. It did me so much good to see your post 5 years later as I know my prognosis is not as good as it could have been and your post was so encouraging, Lin x
