Hi Debster, yup ... 25 sessions and a bit of a Nasty burn on the collar bone but it healed nicely and didn't leave a scar. Use the unperfumed E45 cream. Lash it on the night before you have radiotherapy but ensure to wash it all off in a shower the morning of radio, or it can cause problems. After radio, put the cream back on. Make this a daily routine as it will keep your skin supple and less prone to bigger burns. Skin care is utterly essential. Take care and I hope it goes well for you.

Thanks Lainey. Now that radio is here I'm focusing on regularly moisturising for radio going forward. You have reminded me, many thanks x

As the other reply look after your skin but use unperfumed stuff. I find Cetraban is good it is a bit more pricey but it lasts for ages.

The only way I can describe it is like really bad sunburn but it does fade.

Good luck xx

Many thanks dmhayes, Cetraben has also been proposed to me along with 'continue moisturising with what you'r currently'.

Carrying on!

Yes I had it with no problems whatsoever other than a bit of tiredness throughout treatment. Lovely friendly staff at the hospital made it a pretty pleasant experience overall. Best of luck! x
