A year ago today.....

Today marks a year since my diagnosis, just seen oncologist and all seems well, back there in October just as herceptin ends. Anyone just starting on their journey, you can and will get through this, baby steps along the way and as you look back down the path you've travelled, you will be surprised at just how far you've come. Yes I had to force positivity in the beginning when all I really felt was uncertainty, but not its just a habit to be positive! And its also certainly helped my family and friends through x

Well done...as you say baby steps. I am two years since diagnosis and 8 mths since finishing treatment. Looking back it all seems a but surreal.

Now to looking forward and enjoying life xx

Congratulations! Me too, exactly a year as well, saw my BCTeam on Monday, the Oncologist next month, had a bit of a reflective day yesterday, l cannot believe it's a year & as you say it's amazing how far we've come.

Flying to France later today to visit my son & daughter in law, I can sit in the shade & enjoy the sunshine!
