Hey my dad is around 50 yrs old. He is in a coma of gcs 3. Its been eight days and it hasnt improved. He also had infections which are being treated. He has diabetes and has had 3 stunts added to his veins before. A clot got stuck in his brain and gave him a stroke which led to coma. Does anyone know how long does it normally take a person to wake up from this. No doctor is giving a definite answer.

Hi so sorry to hear this, everyone is different, do you know if there's any brain injury? My dad was Ina coma for 6 months about until he opened his eyes . X
