I have recently just found out that I am pregnant and am roughly about 5 weeks. I have noticed that I have been getting cramping. It is quite painful although comes in waves and only lasts for a few seconds, I also have not had any bleeding or spotting, should I be concerned??

Hey, I'm seven weeks gone and I can definitely relate to you. I had cramping and a few sharp pains but it is normal because it's just your body changing because of the growing baby, if it get really intense go hospital but I wouldn't worry x

Don't worry it's totally natural, I'm now 18 weeks into my first pregnancy and still get strong period like waves of cramps. Good luck and congratulations!

As your tummy will get bigger you will get cramps in your lower tummy because of all the stretching so should be find but if your concerned you can always contact your midwife
