Had unprotected sex with my husband 3 months ago-took idoz 72 within 48 hrs-the periods were right on time for the next two months-this is the third month and my period is late by 3 weeks-is it the side effect of EC or am i pregnant?

Hi there

The emergency contraception you used 3 months ago would have only covered that timeframe. If you have not been using any regular contraception then there is a chance you may be pregnant. I would suggest taking a pregnancy test to be sure.

Best wishes

But we didn't have unprotected sex after that, is it possible even then?

Hi there

If you period is late, or lighter than usual I would recommend taking a pregnancy test as that is the only way you will know if you are pregnant or not. If the results come back negative but you still don't have your period, wait a few days and test again.

Best wishes

Katherine
