Long atory short.. I had sex for the first time and it was unprotected. I just came off my period on Wednesday then had sex the following day Thursday (last week) I don't know if my partner came inside of me. We had wax for almost an hour and he didn't pull out apart from the time when we had to changed psitions. actually I think he came inside of me. Anyway I was bleeding for a few days (very light) and I've also been having cramps till today. I was very anxious so I went to the doctors on Wednesday (this week) and I took a pregnancy test which came out negative. I'm wondering if I took the test too early? And if I did should I take another pregnancy test when my period is due?

Hi there
It sounds like you have taken a pregnancy test too early and I would suggest waiting until your next period and then if it’s late, lighter or shorter you should do another test and be more certain of the result. If you are going to continue having sex you should sort out a method of contraception. So it might be worth visiting your GP or a local family planning clinic.
I hope this helps
Best wishes
Katherine
