Hi I am 81 and my surgeon has said he will do a different procedure to,repair the prolapsed bowel, this time. HE wants to do it thro the anus..has,anyone any views on this way.
I am not incontinent, tho,Main problem has stretched my sphincter ..I am very constipated even with medication, fruit drinking plenty of fluid etc. Even when I have managed to empty my bowel..Throighout the day I can still evacutate small, amounts from three times a day to seven or eight times on a bad day, which is. Very tiring...and has to be done manually..I,have coninuous loud gas throughout the day. Also IBs
MY gallbladder is full,of,stones but I don't get much pain, just,a ,fullness in my chest and can't enjoy meals, I am always full,up but I do make sure, thatmI,have small amounts of good food.
I take Omaprazole since being diagnosed with Osophogitis then the last scan three years ago said it was ok but to carry on with Omaprazole..I,have now been diagnosed with Osteoporis so tried cutting back with the Omaprazole, but, have had to take it again cause I still have a lots,of discomfort eating ..
Has anyone any thoughts on this procedure, my,last, one was keyhole, then Imhad a hernia on the porthole which, meant another op.
I!domt know, whether to risk carry on with this PRolapse e every time I evacuate or risk imcontonence ...I do,bleed occasionally bright red on paper, this may be food related and will, have a scan and will. Be given a suppository in hospital ..
ALthough I find eating problematic, I,can walk,up,stairs and hills without feeling tired, though domgo, into heavy sleeps afternoon and evening maybe cause of, taking tablets for,HYpothyroidism...My blood pressure is 137/78 usually
I have to,go,for, pre med in two, days and am more scared this time than four years ago
Sorry for this long post
