Deep ache in upper arms.

Just wondering if this deep ache in my upper arms is to do with Romosozumab. I have now had this for 6 mths,I don't inject my arms ,but my abdomen .During the day I can feel the ache, but at night it's keeping me awake. I get comfort sitting up with lots of pillows and try and sleep like that. Ibuprofen doesn't touch it. I can not get comfortable lying on my back or side.

The arms are not tender to touch ,its weird, just aches inside.

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced it ??

Hi. I am also on Romosozumab. I was warned before I started by the nurse that I might experience bone pain and to take pain relief to help. My only experience of bone pain until that point was through the fractures but the ones I get now do feel different. I have had pains in elbow, wrists, legs, that only started after this drug. Mostly they come and go but elbow and arm seems to last longer. I am hoping this is a sign of the treatment working. Like you since my fractures I am not able to lie flat or sleep on side. I sleep in a semi lying position where I have two pillows plus a batwing pillow under my head and part of back. I also have harder pillows either side of me and another pillow under my knees. This seems to be the only way I can get comfortable. I can rest my arms and elbow on the side of the batwing and side pillows. I've got to say though it is a right fuss getting this organised every night. I don't take any pain relief anymore apart from paracetamol for a couple of days at night after doing the injections. I found this did help with restless legs and I also kept getting very hot for a couple of day after injections. I am half way through Romosozumab and hope all these weird pains that I suddenly get are a sign it is building bone and working. I really hope you can find something to help you

I have muscle ache in my left upper arm. It wakes me up at night too and like you I inject only into my tummy. Who knows if Romo has anything to do with it! I'm at 6 months post starting treatment but I will let you know my scores after 1 year. It's good to compare notes. Wishing you both an improvement.
