i can barely speak what was said by endo,it's effrontery after effrontery. there are two new receptionists there, the other two have gone. that can happen but there's a weirdness.

GP's referral letter said my Mum began pr*l*a 'upon her wishes'. WHAT? does anyone have any treatment done AGAINST THEIR WISHES? no, it doesn't exist in the western world.

the specialists and doctors probably realise the problems that OP drugs are causing and have to cover up and try blame patients, it is sly, evil, absolutely criminal.

It's shocking! But I do think people are sometimes frightened into having these injections and it suits the medics to say that it is 'their wishes'. So shifting the blame for any side affects. I am one of the people that refused medicine for what I strongly believed at the time, was my osteoporosis. I have recently had a REMS scan. I do not even have osteoporosis! I do have osteopaenia but not Osteoporosis that I thought I had for the last 14 years. Not sure these are available in Australia but they are much more accurate than a DEXA scan. Take care x

Many treatments are unwanted and refused by patients, chemo, dialysis, surgery, medications etc. But yes Healthcare staff often treat patients horribly. Be sure to report mistreatment as it must be addressed. Blessings

I have two autoimmune diseases, one of which I developed many decades ago. That's why I have much experience with doctors and have learned that caution is strongly advised. While I always listen to what they have to say, I rarely follow their advise immediately. My endo, for example, tried to coerce me into said injection and I called the company that makes the stuff. Their medical advisor took about 20 minutes to figure out what's what and then told me that the company could not advise this injection in my case. They also asked for the name and address of the prescribing doctor. I'm sure that was recorded. In my experience the medical records are a farce. They strongly reflect the doctors' perceptions and biases and what the doctors want to convey. My records have been falsified twice. And that's only the incidences I know of. Both times it was because the doctor screwed up and then blamed it on me.

I can understand that you are furious, disappointed and disheartened. Patients for the most part are like cattle on a conveyer belt and numbers on a paper. Doctors still have too much power and credibility. But what can we do? I hope a better doctor can be found for your mom. The good ones are one in a million. Best of luck.
