This is a website that goes into scientific detail about osteo drugs. I will say that their view is to try to do without them, though they don't totally rule them out. I found the site very informative.

To be honest I wish I could go without but my bones were too bad. I had to take something to try and stop them breaking.

I understand that. We have to weigh what's best for each of us.

Do you find your bone scan scores improving?

Hi! It’s gone from -5.5 in my spine to -4.3 after the terraparatide. But then I went on the Denosumab and five months into it had another four spinal fractures. I’m due for another dexa scan in July so I’ll know more then.

Are you an agent for one of these drug companies? Ha ha, just kidding, it's just that that result sounds miraculous.

Oh you’ve guessed my secret. 😂🤣. I wish! I maybe would be rich if I did. I probably wouldn’t be nursing fractures. I didn’t think it was enough. I was quite pleased when I was told but I think it dropped back down again between the terraparatide and the Denosumab. When I queried it with the Consultant I don’t think she was very happy that I had even asked. She said it takes a year or two to work. I thought Thankyou very much. How many more will go in two years. I haven’t got many left that aren’t fractured as it is.

I'm sorry to hear your bones are so soft. You must be a special case because all that breaking sounds like a lot. By the way, did you know they sell hip protectors? I forget if it's underwear or a wrap, but the hips have good padding.

Hi! No I don’t think I’m a special case. If anything they just dot care unless it’s so bad you are hospitalised. A combination of having an early hysterectomy and having steroids for pneumonia a few years later caused the bones to weaken. My bone score was very low and nobody knew until they started breaking. Then we had COVID and people like me are left at the byway. They just haven’t got the time to deal with it so we are left to just put up with it.
