AA

I want to thank those who took the time to reply to my request regarding alendronic acid. I stopped taking it and the mouth ulcers cleared up almost immediately. The pain in my hips and legs improved drastically but not disappeared which I was slightly disappointed! I emailed the ROS nurses and had a great detailed response which was very helpful. I spoke to my GP and she’s now given me Ibandronic Acid 150mg per month. I’m afraid to start it but I will this weekend. If that doesn’t work she’s going to refer me for infusions. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed that something agrees me. I’m very med sensitive I have to admit but wow I couldn’t take the AA any longer. I will keep you updated. Once again thank you 😊

Thanks for keeping us posted, it’s always good to hear how people are getting on. Glad to hear things have improved without the AA. Hopefully you will be ok with the new drug. 😊
