Does anyone know where or how I can get a REMS scan in the USA. I live in Connecticut. Love this forum, so helpful.

Where to get REMS scan in USA?
I found this article, with contact details at the end, so hopefully he can tell you. prnewswire.com/news-release...
Thank you so much. I have sent him an email.
If you get an answer with locations, would you mind sharing the information here? (asking for a friend :))
I received a response from Vicki Baldwin, the Clinical Application Specialist for Echolight Medical, USA. I had stated that I live in Connecticut, so she gave me the information for sites closest to me.
Dr Andy Bush ( Orthopedic Surgeon)
Central Carolina Orthopaedic Associates
Sanford, NC. 919-774-1355 (ask for James)
Dr. Kimberly Zambito ( Orthopedic Surgeon)
Mercer-Bucks Orthopedics
Lawrenceville, NJ. 855-896-0444
XBody Health, Wellness, and Spa
Wayne, NJ. 973-869-5806
Yes, Doug Telftt is the person to contact. There are (at least there were a few days ago) only five locations -- 1 in NC, 2 in NJ and I can't remember the other two. Maybe CO? Or Illinois? If you go to the one in NJ go to Dr. Zambito--the other location is not a dr's office and supposedly they don't have the capability to do bone quality scores. I have an appt with Dr. Zambito in Sept. Good luck!
Thanks so much. I had seen the facility in Wayne, NJ and also seen Dr. Zambito in my search. I will try and make an appointment with her, it's about a two and half hour drive, but could be worth it. The USA seems slow to adopt the technology of REMS which is sad. I have not had a response to my email to Doug Tefft.
I can confirm that the Echolight machine in Wayne nj does NOT provide bone quality measurements. They told me it was because their machine was older. Still, it provided me with t-scores that were very different from my dexa scores. I am considering following up with Dr. Zambito. Do you know what the total fee is with Dr. Zambito (scan and consult)? And if one can just have the scan without the dr. consult. Maybe it was the faculty in Wayne, but I found the 150$ consult pretty useless.
