Does anyone take an alternative that doesnt have to be chewed?

Calceos makes my mouth and gums sore - at may last hygienist session I was advised my gum health had deteriorated. I want an alternative that can be swallowed.

I found the two different calcium tablets I got from the doctor really upset my stomach. Then i realised from looking at the ROS calcium in your diet chart that I was getting quite a kit of calcium anyway. I bought some calcium citrate and take 300 mcg daily to boost what I’m eating.

The ones I’ve got are capsules that I swallow with water, no problems with my gut either. There are lots of different types so you should be able to find one that you don’t need to chew.

You could try a different type of chewable tablet. I can't tolerate the chalky tablets like the one you are taking so I take the Alive calcium gels, which are a fruity gel sweet, not chalky at all.

Hi Keesie, I have been taking Calcichew for many years, no problems at all. You can get chewable ones or to swallow, I prefer the chewable ones. Hope this helps.
