Syndol alternative

I always found syndol really good, but they've changed the formula from 10 mg of codeine to 8 mg. I only take one anyway, but now have to cut a quarter off another tablet. Does anyone know if there is tablet that contains 10 mg of codeine that is not on prescription.

I don't know how much this costs or how much of a quantity you can purchase OTC but this has 12.5mg of codeine to 200mg of ibuprofen: medicines.org.uk/emc/medici...

I searched here for codeine but couldn't see any 10mg products OTC (you'll need to enter it in the search box as it doesn't allow a link to the search results): medicines.org.uk/emc/search

Add some 'Sleep Aid' and you get the original Syndol

It's the ingredient that we removed from Syndol when they put it back on the market after they removed for a while. The Slerp Aid tablet is stronger but easily broken into halves or quarters

Hi Lor7

Out of interest, do you mean something like Nytol that contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride?
