I got interested in thyme as a natural way to improve bone density but in researching thyme on Rx list I learned it can have an estrogen effect. That would mean breast cancer survivors like me should not take it. That would explain its effectiveness for bone density. Too bad for me; afraid to take it.

Wow thanks for the heads-up! Can you sight the research where you saw this. I am a 6 yr BCsurvivor and have made it my mission to stay as homeopathic in my treatment as possible- thyme was one herb included in my regimen.
I’ve been trying to post the link but it’s not accepted. Is there a prohibition against links? The site Rxlist.com is an information site for medical and other persons. You can go there and search “thyme” and other herbs, medications etc. It is a well respected reference site.
